A lot of Tesla owners rely on a standard outlet to charge at home. It works, but it's slow - and over time, that inconvenience adds up. A dedicated Wall Connector is a much better setup, and this is exactly the kind of job we love doing.
Here's what this one involved. We ran conduit from the electrical panel on the exterior of the home, routing it cleanly along the outside wall and into the garage. That conduit run is the backbone of the whole install - it carries the dedicated circuit that powers the charger. Getting that route right matters, both for safety and for a clean finished look.
Inside the garage, we mounted the Tesla Wall Connector on the wall and wired it into that new dedicated circuit. The unit sits at a practical height, the cable has plenty of length to reach the car, and the green status light tells you at a glance that everything is live and working. Clean, simple, done right.
What makes a Wall Connector worth it over a standard outlet? Faster charging speeds, a safer dedicated circuit, and a setup that's actually built for daily use. No more babysitting charge times or worrying about whether a regular outlet can handle the load night after night.
This is part of what we do with our EV charger installation and wiring services. Whether you're setting up your first home charger or upgrading an older setup, we can handle the full job from the panel to the wall.
