Tesla Wall Connector Installed on Center Garage Column

One of the most common questions we get from Tesla owners is where to put the Wall Connector. Too far to one side and it only works cleanly for one car. Too low and the cable becomes a tripping hazard. The center column in a two-car garage is often the smartest answer - and that's exactly what we went with here.

We mounted the Tesla Wall Connector right on the structural column between the two garage bays. That position puts it within reach of either side of the garage, so it doesn't matter which bay your Tesla is parked in. No awkward cable stretching, no workarounds.

The conduit run is clean and tight to the column. It's the kind of detail that makes the finished install look intentional rather than thrown together. We take that seriously - a Wall Connector is a long-term fixture in your home, and it should look like it belongs there.

Beyond the placement, a properly installed Level 2 home charger is a genuine quality-of-life upgrade. You're waking up every morning with a full battery. No more detours to public charging stations, no plugging into a standard outlet and hoping for the best. It just becomes part of your routine.

If you've got a Tesla sitting in your garage and you're still relying on a regular outlet or public chargers, a Wall Connector install is one of the more practical upgrades you can make. We're happy to walk you through what it takes.
