A lot of homeowners get the appliance first and then figure out the electrical. That's usually when things get complicated. We prefer to flip that around - get the wiring done right before the appliance ever shows up.

That's exactly what happened here. The homeowner was planning to add a microwave above the cooktop, so we ran the wiring and installed a new dedicated receptacle in that cabinet space ahead of time. When the microwave comes in, it's a straightforward install. No scrambling, no workarounds, no wondering if it's wired safely.

This kind of pre-planned electrical work is something we do a lot of during kitchen updates. Whether it's a microwave, a range hood, or an under-cabinet appliance - if you know it's coming, it makes sense to get the outlet in place first. It keeps the work cleaner, the walls intact, and the final result looking like it was always meant to be there.

Our wiring services cover exactly this type of job. It doesn't have to be a big renovation to need a licensed electrician. Sometimes it's just one new receptacle in the right spot that makes everything else fall into place.
